FastVein™

Welcome to FastVein™, the cutting-edge biometric recognition system by Croma Fire & Security.

FastVein™ uses advanced Hitachi H1 Reader Technology to capture sub-dermal vein patterns, ensuring unparalleled accuracy and security. The H1 reader captures an image and encodes it into an encrypted template, making it impossible for biometric data to be exploited outside of the native FastVein™ system.

At Croma Fire & Security, we have developed a range of solutions that integrate and utilise the FastVein™ reader, providing schools and businesses with a fully integrated system using a single credential.

School Registration

Our unique boarding and registration system for schools ensures the safety and well-being of pupils. This system provides registration information for periods, an interactive system for pupils to go off-site, boarding information for curfew, and sports and fixtures integration. Designed in collaboration with leading schools in the UK, it can be integrated with popular registration solutions like iSAMS and SIMS to comply with registration requirements.

While FastVein™ is our primary and recommended registration method for assured identification, we also offer other verification methods such as PIN, Token, Wristband, and other biometrics to meet all your school’s needs.

Time & Attendance

Our time & attendance solution is scalable for businesses of all sizes. We offer an interactive registration station that can be placed at one or multiple locations, covering larger areas or multiple entrances. This information is fed into a powerful backend, allowing you to view data live on a web-based frontend and generate custom reports tailored to your needs.

Access Control

Our embedded access control system uses the FastVein™ reader to release or open doors based on rules set up with the FastVein™ interface. This can range from simple always allow access doors or scheduled access to more complex setups like dual person authorisation and anti-pass back features.

Custom Solutions

We also provide custom solutions that integrate some or all of the above features into one package, integrate with third-party systems, or meet any other requirements you have for utilising the finger vein reader.
